Larissa Thermoelectric S.A. Announces Open Tender for the Construction of Two New 400kV Overhead Transmission Lines for Larissa Power Plant in Greece.
Larissa Thermoelectric S.A. is pleased to announce the launch of an Open Tender for the Award of a Construction Contract for two new 400kV double-circuit overhead transmission lines (400kV/2B'B') from the new substation (KYT) of the Larissa Thermoelectric Power Plant to the existing 400kV Agios Dimitrios–Larissa overhead line. This Tender (Tender No. 04/2026) invites qualified and eligible economic operators, including consortia and joint ventures, to submit offers for the full scope of supply, foundation, erection and commissioning of the 400kV transmission infrastructure required to connect the 870 MW Larissa Combined Cycle Power Plant to the Hellenic Transmission System.

Larissa Thermoelectric S.A. Announces International Tender for EPC Turnkey Contract of New Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant in Larissa, Greece
Larissa Thermoelectric S.A. is pleased to announce the launch of an open international tender for the award of an EPC Turnkey Contract concerning the supply, installation, and commissioning of the Larissa CCGT Project, a state-of-the-art combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant to be developed in the Industrial Zone of Larissa, Greece. This tender (Tender No. 01/2025) invites qualified and eligible economic operators, including consortia and joint ventures, to submit offers for the Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and initial operation of a natural gas-fired CCGT plant with a nominal capacity between 750 and 875 MWe as well as a 400kV AIS (Air-Insulated Switchyard).
The facility will be based on a 1+1+1 configuration, consisting of one gas turbine, one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), and one steam turbine.
